When a particular component / element is destroyed by a severe disturbance, so that a link in the network is broken, a diverse community will be able to survive and reorganize itself, because other links / relationships in the network can fulfill the function of the destroyed component / element. In other words, the more complex the system network is, the more complex is pattern of interconnections, and the more resilient it will be.” In human communities, **Ethnic and cultural diversity** may play the same role as well as technology diversity in Machine network. Diversity means many different relationships shaped into resilient community, capable of adapting to changing situations, which is particularly visible inside Social Networks. Diversity cause enrichment of relationships and thus enriches the community as a whole, as well as an individual member. In such a community, information and **ideas flow freely** through the entire network and the diversity of the interpretations and learning styles will enrich the entire community. The “Virtual Reality” is **not necessarily connected to computer technology**, in the fact everything exists inside the virtual reality except “material based” things which are situated inside our physical or grounded world. Everything else is **virtual** – even a words. They become physical if they are captured, stored or spoken but information inside (and the meaning behind) is virtual itself. From pure realistically perspective we are virtual too, although we exists in physical world, our consciousness lives in our brain (running inside the neural network) and theoretically could be transferred anywhere else , which means even outside of this world and doesn’t have to be necessary biologically based. **Pragmatically** taken, our dreams or even our thoughts is easily taken into the computer based virtual worlds for simple reason – they are virtual too! Virtual worlds are created from virtual particles, they could have a different characteristics and their systems could have a different dynamics and patterns but overall we see them as four major representations of: - Societies – Social World (not just human societies), culture, groups, legal systems, governance, political systems, behavioral patterns - Constructed Things - Machine World (which is crossing reality and virtuality), IoT, cars, houses, robots, drones, rockets, even chair you are sitting on right now - Trade and Value - Business World (Value oriented systems represented in reality as “Monetary systems”). - Our “Real” world – World of Life, is represented by all living systems and resources - including planets and Universes , animals, humans and plants --- The Spheres Movement is exploring complexity of ecosystems in a new way, explaining hidden dependencies and makes high level suggestions for better design and architecture of new ecosystems enabled by cloud computing, stream computing and other incoming emerging technologies which will enable creation of automatized ecosystems in order to support sustainable environments and elastic resource pooling. Shift from product oriented economies, as we know them today, to service & flow economies, will support ecosystem ideas by service product recycling and by moving from ownership exclusive model to rent model (Eco-design oriented). We believe, this is possible only if we diminish complexity of particular atomic systems by abstraction points used and represented in symbiosis and adversity of technical, natural, business and living spaces. There is no longer an ineluctable forward march of IT and business expressing the need for change towards next **socio-scene, capitalo-scene and techno-scene**. The missing component for successful survivor on this planet and future colonization of universe is tightly connected to eco-literacy and sustainable design of our future strongly supported by diversity principles - foundational for **thriving super society**. ## References [1] FRITJOF CAPRA: THE WEB OF LIFE, ISBN 0-387-47676-0 ## Related to [[World Spheres]]
