Knowledge is together with access to Information channels most valuable tool in order to influence entities and their interactions. Distribution of Power is hierarchical, concentrated on top levels and plays a central role in emergence of new structures and their relationship patterns. Distribution of Power is also greatly differenced by various groups inside systems, focused on different matter, based on their values and beliefs. All Structures / Entities (Forms) are categorized by Ecosystem World #classification - Business, Social, Living and Technology. Diagram below shows various structures as components of particular forms (categorized by worlds) with governance structures above – command and control position which allows access to all worlds, and their networks. ![[Pasted image 20230709112544.png|Figure 1: System Structures and Distribution of Power]] There’s a basic differentiator between all structures – their dependency on living or mechanic systems. As we mentioned above, knowledge is essential part of governance (in order to rule worlds). Existing knowledge is spread out in existing (known) systems; therefore known systems are limited by existing knowledge. New knowledge can cause **evolution** – discovery of unknown systems or **revolution** – restructure of existing systems into previously unknowable systems (unreachable system structures caused by limited knowledge level).Correlation between knowledge and systems is shown at diagram below. **Destruction** of knowledge (caused by war, catastrophic event etc.) will diminish known systems and move (in dependency of lost knowledge) some “known systems” into” forgotten systems” area. ![[Pasted image 20230709112610.png|Figure 2: Systems and Knowledge Areas]] Evolution is a cognitive process, which can lead to revolution and significantly change the landscape and ration between unknowable and unknown systems. All these knowledge and power related system changes are tightly connected to three major aspects:” thinking”, “rationale” and “computing” , depicted at conceptual digram below: - Thinking - Mechanistic thinking and Systematic thinking differs in “Observation” and “Measurement” methods. Ecological thinking is fully focused on **Ecoliteracy** principles - Rationale - Survival as a basic instinct dictates usage of drastic methods; globalization opens doors into a complex solutions and first system abstractions. Sustainability is driven by preservation of resources - Computing – Abacus as one of the first mechanized tool for computing helped to reach next thinking stages by implementation of arithmetic processes, which leaded in next stages to complex computation models executed by first computers. Cloud Computing is Ecosystem enabler of Machine Networks (IOT) and will first time ever – effectively connect all worlds and allow command and control them as one ecosystem. ![[Pasted image 20230709112627.png|Figure 3: Computing Influenced by thinking evolution]] Fundamentally, computing is the key element of all systems. It enables flows of matter and energy inside the systems and between them: - Financial computing (COB) – economy (money) - Machine computing (IOT) – computers (bits) - Life computing (WOL) – DNA processor (atoms) - Social computing (SOR) – social parameters (languages and cultures) All these computing processors are running inside the computer of universes – Quantum computing (Qubits). The universe is literally speaking one huge computer... [9] Thinking Evolution Stages: 1. Mechanistic Thinking defines world as a collection of objects and focus is oriented in individual objects, their characteristics and behavior 2. Holistic Systematic Thinking recognizes object networks and their relationships 3. Ecologic Thinking represents a big switch to macro focus point of view and put emphasis on relationship patterns such as cooperation, sustainability and flexibility. Our existing understanding of Ecosystems already spearheaded **sustainability rationale**, initiated by shifting globalization issues supporting logical move towards macro-oriented Ecological thinking - supported by massive Cloud Computing power. At the same time, **increased complexity** of systems and networks is making inevitable to focus on macro issues and understanding **mission-critical components** of our Ecosystem to prevent collapse (destruction) of existing societies and thriving cultures. The way of ecosystem thinking is representing evolution stage to uncover "Unknown Systems" and possibly extend our ecosystem beyond current boundaries and constraints. ## References [9] SETH LLOYD: PROGRAMMING THE UNIVERSE, ISBN 978-1-4000-3386-7 ## Related to [[Is MetaX a Knowledge System]] [[What is the unit of knowledge]]
